In Community's Future
Guess what!?!?! Herbart got his visa!! We will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina on October 1st. We are so excited for this new season for our family and to see what God does through us in the USA.
So, that begs the question what about In Community?
We have spent the past two years equipping local Ugandans for this day. As I watched different organizations who had wonderful resources but no one to keep it going after teams left I knew that from day one I wanted to be training someone for the day I left. For most of 2020 I was able to step back and let the new leaders do their job and I was the assistant. I was there if there were questions, I was there if something was not quite being done right but I let them work out the best way for them to continue the work.
Teacher Robbinah and Teacher Brian will be our point people for the school and library. When school resumes in February we will be hiring a new librarian, our previous librarian, Viola, has started her own salon braiding hair because of the salary she received as our librarian, however she has already committed to taking a month to train the new librarian. Teacher Robbinah will also be keeping us up to date on her schooling.

We have a wonderful school for Maria to attend, they have been wonderful about sending pictures and stories of her school days. Gloria will be our main contact there and I am so excited to continue seeing Maria's progress.

Sunday school will continue with Becky as our head teacher and then there will be a schedule of three other teachers who will take turns teaching the class. We continue to pray that the children will see Jesus through each of the lessons they learn. We also pray that these simple lessons will begin a lifelong relationship with Jesus.
I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported In Community over the years. I am so grateful that you were willing to hear the call of God in my life and to support it. When I began three years ago I could have never imagined that God would bring my husband and beautiful son through Uganda. I am so excited to see how In Community continues to impact Uganda over the next few years and to see what God will call our family to as we transition to America.
If you are already supporting In Community and desire to continue no action is needed. However, if you are wanting to stop your support please log on to Donorbox or contact me and I will cancel your donation.
